Our Commitment

Every appointment, workshop and organisational engagement requires time, preparation and the reservation of dedicated availability.

When you book a session with Boris Walter, that time is reserved specifically for you and is no longer available to other clients.

This policy is intended to balance flexibility for clients with fairness to everyone seeking access to Boris' services.

Where circumstances arise, we encourage open communication and will always endeavour to respond reasonably and compassionately.

Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to:

• Personal Integration sessions; 

• Executive Mentorship appointments; 

• Company Integration services (where applicable); 

• workshops; 

• speaking engagements; and 

• other professional services provided by Boris Walter, 

unless different terms have been agreed in writing for a particular engagement.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Client

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following applies:

More than 48 hours' notice

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours' notice will generally not incur a cancellation fee.

Less than 48 hours' notice

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled commencement time may incur a cancellation fee.

The amount charged will depend on the circumstances and the ability to offer the appointment to another client.

Failure to Attend ("No Show")

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and have not provided prior notice, the full session fee may be charged.

Cancellation by Boris Walter

Occasionally, appointments may need to be postponed due to illness, unforeseen circumstances or events beyond reasonable control.

Where Boris Walter cancels an appointment, you will be offered either:

• a mutually convenient alternative appointment; or 

• a full refund of any prepaid fees relating to the cancelled appointment. 

Late Arrival

If you arrive late, every reasonable effort will be made to provide the best possible use of the remaining appointment time.

However, sessions will generally conclude at the originally scheduled finishing time to avoid impacting other clients.

Where scheduling permits, additional time may be offered at Boris' discretion, although this cannot be guaranteed.

Refunds

Refunds may be available where:

• Boris Walter cancels an appointment and rescheduling is not suitable; 

• a duplicate or incorrect payment has been made; 

• services cannot reasonably be provided as agreed; or 

• a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law. 

Except where required by law, refunds are generally not available:

• after services have been fully delivered; 

• where a client simply changes their mind after the appointment has taken place; or 

• where cancellation occurs contrary to this Policy. 

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Workshops, Speaking Engagements and Organisational Services

Workshops, executive mentoring programmes, Company Integration engagements, keynote presentations and other organisational services often require significant planning, travel or venue commitments.

Accordingly, different cancellation terms may apply.

Where this occurs, those terms will be clearly outlined within the relevant proposal, booking confirmation, Statement of Work or service agreement.

Exceptional Circumstances

We recognise that unforeseen events sometimes occur.

Where exceptional circumstances arise, Boris Walter may choose, at his discretion, to waive or modify cancellation fees where it is reasonable to do so.

This discretion does not create an ongoing entitlement and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing within this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

Where the law provides greater protection than this Policy, the law will prevail.

Changes to This Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy may be updated from time to time.

The current version will be available through Boris Walter's website and will apply to future bookings unless otherwise agreed.
